i like their homemade(scratch from soya bean) tofu, soft and smooth, with the gravy to taste

assam gravy not bad, sour enough but not overly sour, 开胃
fish quite fresh, with brinjal, lady's finger, pineapples, onions

ikan bilis is used to cook the soup


kuay tiao- usually i don't like such narrow types cos they are too thin+narrow, but the ones from this stall is thicker and i like :)
they also have meepok and meegia

quite a popular stall among regulars, and you can get it even after normal dinner hours, as it is one of the stalls that operate till late :)

Box Bistro @ Courts Tampines


laksa $5.3 - laksa gravy just/less than average
grilled fish $7.7 - 2 small fish fillets, taste ok, but not the mashed potatoes


spagetti with grilled chicken $6.8
pasta overcooked

mashy rice, hard satay

We were done shopping at ikea, and since we had ate at ikea before, we decided to check out this place for dinner. Experience wasn't great at all.
Understaff = long queue And waiting time = mood :(
Food may look good in pictures above, but seriously, personally feel they are not superb

Kuay Chap


friday night, around 730pm, look at long queue! became shorter at 8 plus.
and of course on weekends there will be long queue too, with some customers already there before they start selling!


why? because it's yummy and cheap! not too salty.
and the aunty is very nice, good service :)
